Fairwinds in dry dock for 6 weeks.

Talking to a fairwinds employee he informed me that The laidoff 30% of their crew, as the Fairwinds II is going into into dry dock for 6 weeks. starting this week.

They will still run trips on their high-end snorkel dive trips on Huli Kai, $135pp and has had a age limit of 16.... not sure on the age restrictions but its aimed at no little kids. It is a very lux trip...

Hope they do not decide to put Hula Kai in drydock after that!!! Hopefully they will keep it going for the winter high season. We want to go in the last part of January!!!

I just took a trip on the Fairwinds a few days ago and it was less than half full. My girlfriends grandfather was talking to the Captain and he said they would not be going out very much soon, so i guess that would be the reason. glad we made it just in time.

I realize that all ships have to go into Drydock,,,just very sorry so many folks will miss this great cruise! Put it on your list for next time!

I was there a few years ago in September and it was in drydock. I think maybe it%26#39;s their yearly maintenance.

Sea Paradise has a lovely 46 foot catamaran that really sails. Thye leave from the same place and go to the same place and are GREAT!
