should i book the tours we wanna do now or when we get down there??
Thanks

tours????
Depends on the tour. Really popular things (like Zip Line) fill up a few months in advance. Other things you can wait on. What are you interested in?
tours????
we wanted to do atvs, horses, snorkel, volcanos, luau, maybe snuba and a few others that we not sure what to do yet
When you are going makes a difference in how far ahead you need to book. Winterbreak, Spring break etc. We normally have all of our activities and dinner reservations booked 2 months (zipline) to 6 weeks in advance. That being said the downturn in the economy may open that up abit, if you really want to do an activity or eat a certain place I would not wait til you get there. Good luck
we are going in may for our honeymoon
May is considered the ';down season';. Shouldn%26#39;t be huge crowds anywhere. For atv%26#39;s horseback riding, you shouldn%26#39;t have to book more than a couple of days in advance. For something more popular such as zip-lines and snorkeling and certain luau%26#39;s you would be wise to do it before you get here. Popular resteraunts will need reservations at least a week in advance.
If there are activities or tours that are ';must-do'; for you and you%26#39;d be disappointed at coming home having missed them, then book them in advance. Generally speaking, book the 2 or 3 absolutes in advance and then fill in the rest when you get there and settle into a pace for your days. You will likely discover that you want more downtime at the beach than you think. If you are staying in one of the larger hotels, the concierge / activities desk in the lobby will be able to help you with those reservations.
Same with Restuarants. If there is a particular evening that you want a romantic sunset dinner somewhere, it would be good to make reservations a week or two in advance. The previous poster was correct in saying that May is usually a bit slower. But even then in the busier locations like Whalers Village in Ka%26#39;anapali, there are typically long waits for seating at places like Leilani%26#39;s or the Hula Grill.
Yes - book in advance those things that you really, really want to do. Check their cancellation policies - find out if you can cancel, and perhaps ask how far out they will book. Different places have different policies on how far out their calendars go - especially restaurants or companies that are anticipating schedule changes. Should you book NOW for May. Sounds awful early, but there is no harm in calling them.
Keep in mind that large groups often book up boat excursions or other attractions or restaurants. If there is a day and time you need, don%26#39;t assume that it will be available when you arrive.
