Alamo car rental location?

I know this is a stupid question........but,I%26#39;m trying to book a one day car rental from Alamo and they give you the option of two locations for rental:

Honolulu - Ala Moana Blvd (HNLR71)

Honolulu Airport/Shuttle (HNLO71)

Since we are flying from Maui to the Honolulu airport, I%26#39;m going to assume we need to pick up at the airport/shuttle location, correct?

Livonia, yes, it would be easier for you to pick up at the airport. And when you go back to the airport to leave Oahu, it will be easier too.

Remember, it says ';shuttle';. This means you will catch a shuttle bus at the airport and it will take you to the nearby Alamo location, not far. The signs are quite easy to see in regards to where you go to catch this shuttle.

You said a ';one day'; rental. Is it only one day because you will only be on Oahu for one day?

We just rented from Alamo in HNL last week and you%26#39;ll be better off renting from the airport than you would be from the Ala Moana location.

Just one thing to keep in mind, though: even though the shuttle picks you up from the airport, the actual rental car lot is about 5-10 minutes away. It wasn%26#39;t a big deal for us, but something to keep in mind. They%26#39;ll give you directions once you get there, but the return will take you a bit longer than it would if the lot were actually *at* the airport. IIRC, Hertz and a few others were actually on the airport premises.

Yes, We will only be there for one day, to visit Pearl Harbor and anything else we have time for after that. Thanks, for the info about Alamo, I%26#39;ll look into Hertz since they are at the airport and that will save us a little time.
