Has anyone stayed at this resort lately and how did you like it.
Maui Lea at Maui Hill
We own next door at Maui Kamaole. Maui Hill is built up a steep hill -- quite a walk to either Kamaole III Beach Park (north) or Keawakapu beach (south). That wouldn%26#39;t bother me, as I would be driving to try several of the nice beaches to the south anyway.
It%26#39;s an older property, but has some very nicely refurbished units.

I have been vacationing at Maui Hill for 24yrs. The walk to Kam III beach is easy. There is a nice stairway from the resort that takes you on a paved sidewalk to the beach. Kam III is a family friendly beach, you can walk to Kam II cross the street buy a smoothie or have lunch or visit the ABC store. If your interested in snorkeling Molokini and seeing turtles, Maui Dive offers a 3hr boat trip that leaves from the harbor next to Kam III. The price is reasonable, too. In Nov,at pool side or at the beach the sunset is right before your eyes. When it's whale season their jumping in front of you. The resort itself is clean and rooms are clean and the kitchen is well stocked and they always supply laundry soap and lots of towels.
ReplyDeleteThe rooms are being remodeled and they are so great...I just returned from 2wks at Maui Hill. New dishwasher, all new bathrooms, new flooring and lighting etc. It was nice before, but it's really nice now. The staff is nice. I do all my own bookings and I don't go through them but someone is there for bookings and they have alot of info. I could go on and on. I really like Maui Hill and I love Maui. My daughter first went there when she was 6mos.old and we just celebated her 24th birthday at Maui Hill and someday I hope to see my grandchildren there. It's clean, bug free, and there's lots to do on site. Hope this is helpful DB
