Kona Village Fans help me choose

We leave for Kona Village in two weeks and these are the royal hale%26#39;s we have a choice of:

M2

NH6

NH8

Some of the LT%26#39;s but not LT 10

I like M2 because it is close to things and looks right over the water but wondering if it is noisy. I know there is a path by it but it looks like it is secluded somewhat.

Kona Village fans which ones do you suggest.

I would chose any of the LTs over the rest. M 2 is closer to everything but NH 8 is much more private. NH 6 would be my last choice. (On the other hand, I gladly stay at ANY of the hales at the KNR!) :)

Hmmm, I just responded but my response didn%26#39;t get listed. So here goes again: MT2 looks good to me because it%26#39;s close in and the kids won%26#39;t be around because it%26#39;s September, and because they prefer the ';Quiet pool'; because it%26#39;s heated.

I%26#39;ll be there from the 19th to the 27th, and will be haunting the Shipwreck Bar. I%26#39;m the old guy. See Ya.

Typically Tropical just curious as to why you prefer the LT%26#39;s. I have heard others say that as well. It looks from the map that they are so close to each other.

There is a slight chance we may have to cancel as I am having dental problems and am in pain. I may need a root canal. I will be extremely depressed if we don%26#39;t go as we have been planning this for so many months. It is a very expensive trip from New

Jersey to go in pain but I may just live on Mai Tai%26#39;s while there.

It%26#39;s a personal choice Linda, I like the LT hales because they are more private.

Thanks - I can understand the privacy as we want that as well. LT%26#39;s looked a little smaller than the others. I do like the fact that they have a jacuzzi and that we would have to walk. After all of those buffets and meals we will probably need to walk back to New Jersey. We may just decide to do the LT%26#39;s. They actually said when we get there we can look at a few that are open and make a choice which is very nice of them.

Like everything, ';it depends'; on how you want to spend your time at KVR. M2 has an outstanding view off the lanai towards the sunset. On the other hand, you%26#39;ll probably be keeping the louvers closed on all the windows since everybody on the north side of the resort will be walking by your hale. So zero view out the rest of the hale. I wouldn%26#39;t consider it ';noisy';, though.

NH8 is another zero privacy hale, as the walkway to the LT%26#39;s passes within 5 feet. It has a jacuzzi IIRC, but the lanai is adjacent to the path, so it too isn%26#39;t very private.

Personally, I%26#39;d take any of the LT%26#39;s. One concern about the LT%26#39;s is that the odd numbered ones have the bed facing west, and when we stayed there as the full moon approached, the moon set shone brightly into the room off of the ocean. But you%26#39;re going during the new moon, so that isn%26#39;t a problem. I hadn%26#39;t noticed if the LT%26#39;s are smaller or not; there%26#39;s plenty of space for the three of us.

Of course, we don%26#39;t mind the walks (we like it, in fact, for the most part) and value the privacy and the outstanding views to the north. But that%26#39;s us.
