I am traveling with my 6 year old and needed some restaurant recommendations. Kid friendly but still caters to adults! We are staying at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel but we have a car. We love food.

We love Kimo%26#39;s in Lahaina and have been taking our son there since he was three.

Hula Grill at Whaler%26#39;s Village would be OK. Aslo, Bubba Gumps on the water in Lahaina.

I support the previous post%26#39;s recommendations-Bubba Gumps, Hula Grill.The little one wouldlike Bubba Gumps-it is a bit eccentric in decoration,but plenty of choice.

All in Lahaina. Bubba Gumps, Hard Rock Cafe, and Cheeseburger in Paradise.

I agree with Kimo%26#39;s, Hula Grill, and Bubba Gump%26#39;s for kids. We enjoyed the Sea House in Napili even though the service was slow the night we were there. If you make it to Kula in upcountry, try the Kula Lodge----good food and views.

If you need a great place for breakfast, or lunch right behind KBH next to the highway is CJ%26#39;s. Great food and prices. We%26#39;ve seen many locals there. They make a great Hana box lunch too.

Lahaina - BJ Pizza! Both of you will love it.

Lahaina - Bubba Gumps and Hard Rock can be ear-bleeding noisy ... seriously noisy. Bubba Gumps is very into merchandising and their food is so-so. I guess the word I am looking for is ';gimmicky.'; Nice view! I guess you could say the same for Hard Rock.

Ka%26#39;anapali - outdoor seating for Leilani%26#39;s or Hula Grill. It%26#39;s fun and you%26#39;ll both love the food. A more kid-friendly menu, although the indoor seating in both restaurants may have special kids%26#39; menus.

Lahaina - Moose McGilloughcuddy has a great breakfast. Not a place for kids after dark, but a very family place for breakfast.

The burgers at Cheeseburger in Paradise are not so good -- but I love the T-shirts.

There are plenty of other posts about restaurants in general on Maui, burgers, and family oriented restaurants ... so please do a search.

The Gazebo is great for breakfast, but you need to be willing to wait or arrive early to get a window table with a view.
