Aleka Loop

I notice on the map that there is an ';Aleka Loop'; behind and north of the Coconut Marketplace. Is this good for walking or only for driving?

Aleka Loop is what you use to access four hotels and the Coconut Marketplace. It is meant for driving, and I don%26#39;t think there%26#39;s any defined sidewalk to it.

There%26#39;s a good walking path on the other side of the four hotels right by the ocean.

Aleka Loop does indeed have a very nice sidewalk it%26#39;s entire length--quite a rarity on Kauai. It even has a barrier that protects it from the road. While it is much nicer to walk along the path closer to the ocean, this sidewalk is very practical for accessing Foodland and other stores from all these hotels/condos.

There is a very nice meadow here, between the straight part of the ';loop'; and the ocean path, so the views are actually very nice from the sidewalk as well. But enjoy them while you can, there are plans to build more condos there.
