Hotels with best beaches?

We would like to do a week in Hawaii late Oct/early November as a last hurrah before our baby is born.

I am open to any island.

Priorities are a hotel with a fabulous, swim-able beach, lounge chairs, easy access from the hotel (can be a big resort that requires walking, but I want the beach to be serviced by the hotel)and chair side service for drinks, etc. We just want to swim and relax.

We were planning on Maui, but the resorts I looked at all seem pool focused, which is not so important to us. Neither is much sightseeing this time around.

The Big Island seemed to have the beaches I imagined, but many of the hotels are booked solid.

Hoping to spend 400$ or less a night.

Can anyone help?

Thanks so much!

You will find small, limited beach side services at various hotels in Hawaii. This is because ALL beaches in Hawaii are public. That is why the pool service is much more lucrative. They are also not allowed to serve alcohol on the beach because it is illegal. The hotels are only allowed a very small space on any beach. The Four Seasons has great beach side service on Maui. Thats probably out of you budget though!!

Sheraton Maui. Great beach ... with cabanas (reserve). Popular hotel for couples. You will be going during low season, so your budget is OK. AAA discounts are great. Easy, easy access to the beach. It%26#39;s right there. PM me with questions.

And they have two beach bars with excellent food. Great smoothies, too.

you might consider Kona Village Resort.... very private... and all meals included and you said you didnt want to run around.... so there you have it 400 room and 150 Worth of food.... while public beach, I have never seen other than resort guest there.......very secluded and best atmosphere in all Hawaii...
