Hi all,
I was trying to find somewhere to stay in Volcano for 1 night, but I am having trouble due to the popular 2-night minimum. We leave next week and everything else is booked, so I can%26#39;t change how many nights we can stay now. Anyone have any recommendations that cost around $100-150 a night?
Thanks in advance!
Place to stay w/no 2-night minimum in Volcano?
We stayed for just one night at Aloha Crater Lodge. If it%26#39;s getting close other places may take a one-night rather than be empty

We had a hard time as well finding places for only 1 or 2 nights around the island.
Hope this helps.
I think the new place TT found and liked, the coffee cottages or something like that, has a one night. He posted the link to it in the Keaau topic ... which is on the front page right now.
It%26#39;s http://hawaiicoffeecottages.com and I stayed there for one night about two months ago. It%26#39;s about 15-20 minutes from the Volcano National Park. It%26#39;s a brand new B%26amp;B and I think I paid $100, including tax, cleaning, etc.!
I%26#39;ve booked one night at Kilaeau Lodge in Volcano in November.
Not knowing what your preferences are, I would recommend http://www.volcanohousehotel.com/ or http://www.kmc-volcano.com. Both are within the nat%26#39;l park and offer one night stays. I have never stayed at either, but will have a one night stay in November.
We are leaning towards KMC because they have jetted tubs; we made the lava field hike before. KMC requires you to either be military or a civilian sponsored by military. It took us about 10 minutes to think of someone we knew who could sponsor us. If you call, they will email you something giving required information for sponsorship. I am less clear on how long that process would take to complete.
Good luck!
Thanks to you all! You have presented so many options I didn%26#39;t know I had! :)
