FYI- Kannapali Villas NOT in Napili

Holiday House Brochures state that The Kannapali Villas are in Napili. Their website says the same thing. I called them and told them of their error, and the person whom I was speaking to asked me if I was an ageant and I said ';No';, and she didn%26#39;t want to talk to me anymore. I told her I would inform people on this forum. She wasn%26#39;t too concerned that it was wrong. I told her I had just booked there, and wanted to make sure that the Villas are in fact in Kannapali, and she couldn%26#39;t tell me that.

They have it classified under Napili but under the description it says it is in the Kaanapali resort area which is correct.

If they don%26#39;t even know where the resorts are then I wouldn%26#39;t book with them. I think you could probably get better prices elsewhere.

Holiday House is a major Tour Operator in Canada for the last 50 years. You just happen to talk to someone who was probably inexperienced. They do not deal with the public, but at the same time they should have at least acknowledged your concern and done a better customer service job. They are too big and offer too many product to be able to send staff down to check out the destination so they are pretty much relying on some in Product to input the info correctly.

As crazy as it sounds, most of the call center staff probably have not heard of TA and even if they had probably do not understand the full scope of TA.

I%26#39;m not trying to defend them, but having worked for their major competition I know how things work over there.

I just want to assure you that they are reliable and your booking will be just fine. I would go back to your travel agent who booked it and ask then to call Holiday House to verify things if you wish.

The Resortquest Maui Ka%26#39;anapali Villas are in fact in Ka%26#39;anapali or officially Lahaina as their address shows.

There are the:

WKORV and WKORVN = Westin Kaanapali Ocearn Resort Villas

and

ResortQuest Maui Kaanapali Villas Formerly Aston Kannapali Villas AKA Maui Ka%26#39;anapali Villas

I am talking about The Resortquest Maui Kannapali Villas. I did in fact book at these condos but through VRBO not Holiday House. I noticed the mistake and wanted to make sure it was a mistake (which was resolved with a quick look on a Kannapali Resort Map ) as well as let HOLIDAY HOUSE know. I had to talk to about 4 people before someone directed me to the right person. She didn%26#39;t seem concerned at all and thats why I wrote it down here.
