Locals - where do you vacation?

I think I have a serious Oahu addiction. Every vacation I get, I only want to go back to the island. If you live in such a beautiful place, where do you vacation?

When I lived on Oahu:

SF Bay Area

Japan

Australia

Big Island

Maui

1. Maui

2. Colorado

3. Texas...only because that is where my grandchildren are!!

Cook Islands, French Polynesia, Ireland (once, and for a special event, and because my dad%26#39;s family comes from there and I needed to see it before I die).

It%26#39;s so true that the local favorite is Vegas, Vegas, more Vegas.

But Dan and I are not locals; we moved here.

Places I want to see -- more of Europe, Japan again, Thailand, Cambodia, more of the South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand.

Some locals I know go to Vegas and some like to experience...snow! (So they go skiing.)
