You find that if you refer only to the Marriot Kauai beach resort, you will find people will ask you...

Is that in Lihue, or in Poipu.l\

When we refer to the Marriot, we will say:

';We are across from the Marriot Lihue, or Kalapaki Beach.';

Or ';Meet us at the Tiki Bar at the Waiohai%26#39; Which is the marriot in Poipu.

Have never heard any locals refer to either as, Maarriot Kauai beach resort.

You should have a partial view of the ocean both places.

Lihue Marriot, has a huge pool area. You will have a view of Kalapaki Beach, and Mt. Ha%26#39;upu, as well as Kalapaki Bay, and Nawiliwili Harbor and the ocean.

At the Waiohai, you will see the smaller pool area, and some of the ocean. The view from the beach will include plenty of ocean, and you can stroll all along the sand to Poipu Beach park.

Both are great places, and you should be really pleased with either. The Waiohai is much newer.
