TA get-together 9/12 at Kalapaki Joe's

Been working extra shifts, and did not realize that the meeting place was kalapaki joes.

Erica is cleaning house on friday, and the cook is off and the kitchen is closed, so as far as I know, we will be there.

I do see groups, there, with several people, just about that time, and on fridays when we head over.

So, add on (2).....will let Erica know this afternoon, when she gets back home from the gym, and early voting.

OK, guys, we%26#39;re there! We fly out in the am, and I%26#39;m not bringing my laptop (I hope there%26#39;s a computer in the lobby at Point of Poipu), so probably wont%26#39; check in again until Friday, or may just see you there!

We just got back, unfortunately, but just wanted to let you know we were at Kalapaki Joe%26#39;s on Monday night and they had to close the kitchen for a ';maintenance issues';. We could have gotten sushi, but didn%26#39;t feel like it that night.

Hopefully it%26#39;s fixed, but just wanted to give you all a heads up.

We had been there the first night of our vacation and had a fantastic meal with great service and were very sad that we couldn%26#39;t eat there our last night as well.

You people always be ';talk story'; and ';making drinking time';. Be the right ';Da Kine'; for sure, friends.

Now old Caddy will not be there, as I must be ';Working 9 to 5, just trying to make a living';, but I%26#39;ll live vicariously (wow) through your party. That is to say...';You party and Caddy parties too';.

Next time I be on ';K Isle';, be suring to let my specials know so we spend down time. Suppose at this point, I%26#39;ll absolutely have to wear a pink speedo, no? Must not disappoint, but dreams are better than reality...at my age! :)

Buy that nice Kahuna ';Shanty Dog';...or excuse me ';Shanty Bob'; and his lovely DW, a couple of rounds for the Caddy. Send me the bill! In fact, everybody have 3 rounds on the Caddy.

....Really sorry to bother you kind people...just wanted to put in a great word for my big Kahuna Shanty...never met him in person...but he%26#39;s a good guy through and through I bet.

...don%26#39;t let him stick you with the tab like he did once to me via Internet on Maui TA. (He made me buy him one of those ';Maui Revealed'; books and then I got in trouble with the local Maui braddas!)

Polly, there IS one in the lobby but it sure isn%26#39;t cheap! LOL I had to use it to print out boarding passes -- OUCH! take your credit card with you when you walk to the lobby.

By the way, did the other ';picnic'; pictures ever get on here? If so, I%26#39;ve missed them.

Remember what Caddy said...'; you never know when Caddy might be near';. So check behind all of the nearby palm trees when you are at Kalapaki Joe%26#39;s! And keep an eye out for anything ';pink'; that might be racing by.

LOL Pattie! That%26#39;s good %26#39;cause Hurricane Ike has a bullseye on Caddy%26#39;s speedo. At least it hasn%26#39;t strengthened today.

All of our thoughts are with you, and that it will not be as devistating as Iniki. Is there a chance the beast might make some kind of a course change.

Will you be evacuating ? Nothing to mess with, and your and all the other caddy%26#39;s are primary.

Oh, perchance if worse comes to worse, we will be looking for that international distress signal of the pink speedos waving at the rescue helos.
