Jet Ski rentals on Kauai

I%26#39;ve tried searching TA and Google, but can%26#39;t really find a definitive answer. We%26#39;re looking to rent some jet skis and take them out on the ocean. We did this on Maui and had a blast, but can%26#39;t seem to find any places ';online'; that offer this. Are we SOL? Thanks in advance!

Kauai does not have jet ski rentals - the only ones that use them would be the lifeguards as far as I know

I%26#39;m afraid your SOL - no jet ski rentals on Kauai.

thankfully, there are no jet skis on kauai

(sorry if that sounds rude, but those things are obnoxious)

kauai wouldn%26#39;t be kauai with the roar of jet skis in the background

Jet skis anywhere in Hawaii are rather limited. On Oahu, they would only let us go around a quarter-mile oval path.

Aloha from Kaua%26#39;i!

Jet skis here are not allowed except for the ones that are used for water safety by our County lifeguards.

I personally am thankful that we don%26#39;t have them here - the beauty and sound of the ocean waves is all I want to hear at the beach!

Janet

You can only rent jet skis in Maui between May 15-Dec. 15th. No jet skis during whale season.

I think they too limit them to an offshore course where they go around in a circle right?

I am with the group that says jet ski rentals really are not a good idea in Hawaii, but to each their own.

Not to sound snobby, but THANK GOD they don%26#39;t allow jet skis....no reason to pollute the island and ambiance with those rediculous water motorcycles.

I love riding them...they are fun...but at some point we have to say that preserving the tranquility and beauty of nature is more important than a cheap thrill...

There are plenty of things to do if you%26#39;re bored.

Bill, you%26#39;re right. They go in circles in front of Kaanapali beach. That is the only place they are allowed.

wow, didn%26#39;t realize this would be souch a touchy subject...sorry I brought it up. thanks.
