need advise on hotel going to oahu in october

we will be going to honolulu in october last week for 5 days. Can you guys help me find a hotel? our budget is b/w 100-150/night. as of now, i can think of resortquest waikiki beach hotel. any other hotels of same range?

Just got back from the Pacfic Monarch. Had room 1102. a one bedroom suite with a great ocean view and big lanai. It was a little older but it was clean and comfy. It also was a great location to everything. A two minute walk to the beach. Well worth the money.

I just looked at the hotel pictures. They have ocean view rooms. Do they have real ocean view? how about partial ocean view ones? any ideas? coz i see some other buildings infront of it.

The Monarch is two short blocks from Kuhio Beach and the Hyatt Regency would be the building you see on the right.

Oceanview even two or three blocks away are in demand.

The Monarch is right in the middle of those other buildings so yes I had a great ocean view. The higher floor you get the better.

can you guys please tell me how ';Park Shore Waikiki'; hotel is?

Have heard it can be noisy on the Kalakaua side or oceanview on account of the lounge but it is a nice location.

Look at the Queen Kapiolani or Waikiki Grand Hotel.
