We were really wanting to stay on Kaanapali Beach, becuase most of what we want to do is in that area, but we found a really good deal at the Kapalua Villas. How far of a drive would that be? It doesn%26#39;t look to far on the map, but with traffic you never know...!! Thank you!
How far...?
Aloha funinthesun,
It takes us about 12 minutes using the upper highway and the traffic in that direction is rarely a problem. You picked a beautiful area to stay in!
How far...?
It is six to seven miles. Traffic not a factor. But it is not a deal at Kapalua Villas if you really want to be in Kaanapali.
It%26#39;s not far -- maybe 15 minutes - depending on where on Ka%26#39;anapali you want to be. BUT, oddly the weather in Kapalua can be different from Ka%26#39;anapali at certain times of the year. When do you plan to go?
If you have AAA - check out their promotions on Ka%26#39;anapali. I have seen good ones for the Sheraton and the Hyatt ... and there are probably more.
Did you want a condo?
Thank you all for your response!! We were looking at first at staying at the Shearton, but their rooms for ocean view were between $500-600 a night, we found the villas for under $300 per night. We didn%26#39;t really need a condo, but we did want a fridge which we were told we could have gotton at the shearton. I will check the AAA prices though, thanks for the tip!!
Also we are trying to plan for August for our anniversary!!
Kapalua is so beautiful. I think you will like it there. We always stay there when we go. There are many good beaches in the area, and the drives to Kaanapali and Lahania are short. There are a few good restaurants right in that area also. We like both Pineapple Grill and Plantation House. You can also get good sushi. Sansei I think. I am not a big sushi fan, and a new place called Merrimans is getting good reviews.
