Thankgiving dinner

OK you guys. This is my third request for info. We arrive on Nov 26, the day before Thanksgiving. I spoke to a traveller at the Houston airport who said they had a great T-day dinner at a hotel on Maui several times, but I forgot the name.

Regular sit down or buffet would be fine. Any suggestions?

Dunno but you should check to be sure the hotels have T-dinner for nonguests. On the Big Island, some limit availability to allow more staff to have the day off. Not sure what they do on Maui. Where on Maui are you staying?

This for 2006 suggests the Sheraton and Grand Wailea may have open buffets that is at least one to ask about in west and south Maui. I%26#39;d call them direct if you don%26#39;t get ideas on TA.

Where are you staying? That is really important. My family had a GREAT Thanksgiving meal at the Wailea Four Seasons several years ago, but I am sure all the major hotels in Ka%26#39;anapali %26amp; Wailea will have nice meals. I would also be curious as to what the Ka%26#39;anapali Beach Hotel was doing....

You are still too early for thanksgiving. As a rule, Thanksgiving menus will be announced in October. Some hotel chefs may put theirs up earlier, but most chefs will not have their menus until November. Here is a link to some of last year%26#39;s:

But, especially with the way things are this year, I not even begin to guess who is doing what until closer to the end of November. Chefs and management change all the time around here. Place open and close in a matter of months, existing places change hands. I had a great holiday meal at one 2 years ago that I do not recommend to anyone currently.
