Thank you for your help so far.

We are looking for a good hotel in Oahu, ideally on the beach for upto $300 per night. Any suggestions? We were looking at the Kahala but are being charged $475 per night. Travelling next April.

I would go to either United Vacations or Plesant Holidays and book a Hotel..flight..car throught them

They will get you the best deal. Just so you know 230 to 250 is the bottom of the heap for the area.. and your pretty close to that

If you can avoid the week before and after Easter, do it. Lots of families with kids on school break. Go later in the month of April.

About your budget ... I see it two ways. Nice hotel on the beach with a city/mountain view OR an older, cheaper hotel farther from the beach, but perhaps with an ocean view.

I would opt for the city/mountain view at a nicer hotel. Look at the Sheraton and the Outrigger on Waikiki.

Great hotels under $300 are the New Otani Kaimana Beach, Waikiki Marriott, Waikiki Parc and the Wyland Waikiki.

You can also find rooms under $300 at the Hilton%26#39;s (HHV %26amp; Kuhio), the Hyatt, the Outrigger Reef %26amp; Waikiki and the Embassy Suites.

Packages from United, American %26amp; Pleasant are great ways to save money and get better deals and upgrades.
