We love the Kapalua area and hope to stay in a decent and clean condo there on our next visit. Only requirements are that it sleeps 4, has a beautiful oceanview (oceanfront not necessary), willing to pay up to $250 a night. Can someone recommend a good condo from VRBO? There are so many on the website! Last time we used Ridge Realty which was fine, but I wanted to see and compare all the other options.
Need VRBO Recommendation for Kapalua Condo
We stayed at Ridge Villa 612. The owner is Angie. It has the most amazing view of the ocean, the golf course, and the white church. The condo was nice and clean with a/c. I also liked that it had a bbq grill. It would sleep four. 1 bedroom and a pull out sofa. It has two bathrooms and a large washer/dryer. We have also stayed in a couple different places we rented through Sullivan Properties. When are you going?
Need VRBO Recommendation for Kapalua Condo
Aloha Texasfriends,
I am going to recommend that you use Terry and Diane again at Ridge Realty. They manage numerous condos at The Ridge and they are two of the nicest people you would ever want to do business with. If you have any problems with anything while you are renting they will be there instantly because they also live at The Ridge. I think their rental prices are very comparable to any VRBO unit you could find and if you want to negotiate on a price give it a try. In this rental market there is some negotiating taking place. If you are there in high season that might not be an option, also there is an LPGA Golf tournament taking place this Oct. and I have a feeling the Ridge Villas may be pretty booked then too. They also have pictures of all the units they manage.
Yes, I know Terry and Diane. They are great!! We are not going back to Maui until Dec. 2009, so I have plenty of time. I was just curious on what else is out there. There are a few villas on the VRBO website that are more updated and less expensive than the one we stayed at for $235 a night. And the views look just as good.
Have you stayed Kapalua in winter months before? It can be cool, windy and rainy then. Maui%26#39;s northern areas don%26#39;t get AS bad weather in winter as Kauai and Oahu, but there is always some.
