Has anyone done this over Hawaii? I have twice in the UK and would love to in Oahu?
What about the helicopter tour in the helicopter with no doors?

No balloon rides on Oahu for fairly obvious reasons - small island, big ocean, strong trade winds.
Doors off rides are available on Kauai.

As the other poster said, no ballons on any of the islands due to the pretty much conctant trades and the size of the islands. Lots of other places go to though.
I saw an ad for powered hang glider ride, which may come close to a balloon ride. I saw the ad in one of the fliers you can find in the baggage claim area. I personally did a biplane ride.
