HELP!! Looking for the most romantic restaurant in waikiki

My wife and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary on Oahu in March and I want to make a reservation at a restaurant where they have tables on the beach or in the surf. Anyone know of any restaurants like this on Oahu???

Le Mer at the Halekulani hotel with out a doubt! Beautiful views looking over the water and right the way over to diamond head, ask for a corner table! Just blew me away! Enjoy

HELP!! Looking for the most romantic restaurant in waikiki

Most romantic is in the eye of the beholder ... but I would vote for the Surf Room at the Royal Hawaiian. The tables are not on the beach (impractical for Waikiki), but right up to the beach. I love to watch the colors of the water change as the sun goes down. You%26#39;ll need a reservation to be put up front. Excellent food! Tables are not all squished together. Not ultra formal, but definitely a NICE restaurant. (Wear your best Aloha shirt!) The RH is under renovation right now, but will be up and running in January. Check the RH website in a couple months.

The Hanohano Room at the TOP of the Sheraton has always intrigued me. Amazing views ... others can chime in about the food.

There are other good candidates ...

Check out the Surf Room picture.

Most romantic in Waikiki would be:

#1) La Mer at the Halekulani (and #1 by a wide margin)

#2 Orchids at the Halekulani (if you don%26#39;t want to spend the money for La Mer or wear a sport coat)

#3 Michel%26#39;s at the Colony Surf

#4 Hau Tree Lani at the New Otani Kaimana

Another vote for La Mer...

But there are plenty of locals who consider John Dominis to be the most romantic joint on the island.

Great view across the water with all the lights of Waikiki in the background.

Located on Kewalo Basin, mid-way between Waikiki and Downtown.

I agree with the above posts-Orchids,La Mer, at the halekulani, the Surfroom at the Royal Hawaiian, would be my topchoices, the Hau Tree lanai at the New Otani is a finerestaurant, but a cut below the others.

Congratulations,and have a great celebration,

You won%26#39;t find tables on the beach or surf anywhere in Hawaii. All beaches in Hawaii are public, therefore the hotels aren%26#39;t allowed to sprawel all over them!! You will find fantastic meals at all the places already mentioned.

.

Hi People,

After checking out the wonderful menu of the

J/ Dominis Restaurant I will forget about previous

plans and will make his place an absolute Must see

How to get there from the Hawaii Prince?? How

far?. Is it a taxi cab deal? Thanks...NoelinOz..

Olas at turtle bay has tables on the beach

There aren%26#39;t restaurants with tables on the sand with the waves washing over your feet (like you find in Mexico) on Waikiki.
